Great wedding experience.

Recently attended a wedding in the Riverbank and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Sandwiches, canapes, champagne and punch on arrival - absolutely top class. Dinner was very good. I really enjoyed the Thai fish cakes, the strawberry sorbet and the fish main. The dessert was exceptional especially the lemon meringue. Both wines served with dinner were very pleasant. Late night buffet was great - all cooked to perfection and most welcome. Service was excellent - efficient and friendly. Top marks to
team - from a guest point of view, everything flowed seamlessly and well.

Family Wedding - Great venue
Reviewed December 2015
Stayed for two nights at the Riverbank. On the night before the wedding we arrived and was very warmly welcomed by Rebecca at
reception. Visited the lovely bar looking out on the River and lights of Wexford. Had really lovely food and a few drinks. Breakfast the next morning as well was lovely. On arrival from the church we had food and drinks in a pre-reception area presentation was very good, open fire really nice atmosphere. Bell rang for dinner and we went upstairs to the Banqueting room for dinner.
Food was superb, service excellent and the staff really nice and helpful. Whilst the band set up we adjourned to the bar and then back upstairs for the dancing etc. Evening food was also lovely a selection of tasty hot nibbles. The night ended in the residents bar where lots of fun was to be had. The hotel kindly organised a baby sitter for me and she was great as well. The receptionist sent us on our way with four very welcome bottles of water - a really nice touch. I can’t recall the name of the receptionist but once again she was a great Ambassador for this lovely personable hotel that knows what Irish hospitality is all about. If I had one slight criticism the bathrooms in the rooms could do with a bit of a revamp but are very clean. I would highly recommend the Riverbank to any couple that want a wedding with a personal touch. We will be back without doubt and recommend this little gem to our friends and family.
